St Annes Carnival

St Annes Carnival

St Annes Carnival is back in 2026 with the fun, community day out for all the family. Let’s hope that the sun is shining and it’s a great day – to raise more surplus funds for local charities.

St Annes Carnival 2026

Enjoy live music, the community parade & crowning of Carnival Queen. Motown, Soul & Country classics. Family & dog show day and fairground fun all weekend! 10,000+ visitors. One incredible weekend. Ashton Gardens.

Friday 10 to Sunday 12 July 2025 at Ashton Gardens. After an overwhelming public vote, the theme for this year is “Through the Decades!” Turning back the clock and turning up the fun – from the roaring 20s to the swinging 60s, the disco 70s, the neon 80s, and everything in between!

St Annes Carnival through the decades

This traditional weekend begins with a parade through the town at 10.30am on the Saturday morning and then into Ashton Gardens for family fun during the weekend. The Crowning of the Carnival Queen takes place in the Gardens at 1.15pm.

Over the whole weekend there are many stalls, games, children’s rides and bouncy castles. Entertainment is provided by local schools, youth groups, musicians and singers. Traditional races for all the family create a lot of fun and rivalry. There are many competitions to get involved with including tug-of-war, Dog Agility and Best Dressed dogs!

  • Friday – Live music from 6.30pm.
  • Saturday – Parade, Crowning Ceremony and live entertainment all day
  • Sunday – Competitions, family races and games, tug of war and the raffle draw

Please go along and support it. It’s you that helps to make it a success!

Competition Time!

Get involved and take part in the competitions over the weekend. Remember, all competitions have a range of age categories, so there’s something for everyone of all ages!
