Heritage Open Days is a national event which takes place in September each year. Beautiful buildings are open for you to enjoy, free of charge.
Historic local buildings are opened over a weekend in September, so that you can gain access to local heritage that you wouldn’t normally be able to enjoy. And they all offer free entry too.
Churches and places of worship, entertainment halls and theatres, town halls and libraries give access to the public, some with guided tours, often with behind the scenes access to places where the public wouldn’t normally be allowed to go.
All the details for buildings and sites which are open to view in the St Annes and Lytham area can be found on the Visit Lytham website.
